All settled in to our new mountain spot!! This trip has had mostly ups but with those have come a few downs. The nature and adventures have been priceless, but we fell into the hands of some people who weren't the people we thought they were for a while. Its not all easy peasey, but you live and you learn. After I left that hostile situation, the dogs and I were in and out of hotel rooms for 2 weeks with Bob (he gets compensated through work.) We were camping on the weekends, which is what we do every weekend anyway. A couple weeks later, here we are in a beautiful and quiet spot in the mountains, surrounded by art and nature. One thing leads to another and I'm SO happy we are here..right where we are meant to be. Met some great people over those hotel weeks, restoring my faith in humanity. We might be out a few hundred dollars from that first situation, but we still have all our limbs and are healthy and moving forward! Grateful for where we are now. So much to learn! Feeling lots of growth on this journey.
I now have my own comfy room with electricity and water! what a change! Also ample room for a studio set up in a garage filled with tools which I'm welcome to use! We are in the hands of a nurturing soul who wants to share the vast knowledge he has obtained through the years. I'm not sure if I've ever met someone so generous and caring.
I don't have to art out of my suitcase anymore!!! It's GO time! & I'm attending a life drawing class tomorrow. Couldn't be more excited!
Oh, and also Bob made his first catch fly fishing this weekend!!
