My summer started last weekend with Summer Camp Music Festival, which was SO MUCH FUN!!!! I made a print for the event, signed and numbered them all and had a few other prints with me as well. I love selling my artwork and meeting new people, trading for other artwork and networking with such a great group of creative people! It was a lot of work preparing for the weekend, but my handwork paid off! Sold or traded most of my prints and got my name out there with my business cards! Also hooped a lot which was wonderful because I really haven't hooped much in the past year. Getting my flow back felt so great and inspired me to get hooping all the time again like I use to. I want to pick up an instrument again soon and find my flow through that as well.
Next step: Print more business cards, do a large scale abstract painting (something I've been wanting to do forever!) and find a show to put some work into. Also I'm working on some functional floor paintings. Pictures to come :) Started a new serving job yesterday at Brio Easton. I'm excited about making more money but I REALLLLLY don't want to loose out on creative time so this will be a game of balance and staying level headed and rested. <3
