The original painting was inspired by a sunset from the dinner table at the Mount Lassen Art Center in Viola, California where Jessica was a resident artist in 2016. During this time, she started to develop her own style of landscape paintings, most being plein air, or on location during hiking, camping and fishing trips.
Sunsets are a universal language and we can look forward to them like clock-work. The sunsets every night, and if the weather is right and you have a view of the sky, chances are you are going to see some change of color. Each sunset is unique and special in their own way. The original was sold in 2018 while exhibiting in Blue Lake, California, but you can still own this piece by brightening up your home with an archival print, or you can rock this painting as a colorful backpack!
